  • After over 20 years of experience as a GP partner in a highly regarded NHS practice in Richmond, London, I have developed a private practice designed to look after my patients in the way that I myself would wish to be looked after, with the highest possible quality of care delivered in a kind and approachable way.

Standard appointments are 30 minutes long and allow time for you to discuss your symptoms and fully convey your concerns.

I always carry out a full clinical examination and carry out any appropriate investigations as promptly as possible with blood tests and imaging usually being organised within a few days.

Onward referrals where needed are also as rapid as possible as I have excellent professional links with private Medical and Surgical Consultants from a broad range of specialities.

I am passionate about my work and always strive to give the best possible advice and treatment. I aim to work closely with you to come up with a plan that will work best for you and your specific circumstances.

As a GP I am qualified to see adults and children of all ages, covering conditions across most specialties.

I have a special interest and a very successful track record in helping my patients with weight management.

I am very keen to help identify the symptoms of, and support women through, perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms. I am very enthusiastic on the help and health benefits that HRT can provide.

I am also very supportive of proactive management to prevent serious illness by regular health screening and health promotion with a holistic lifestyle approach.

  • I see patients to give an opinion on, and treat where applicable, most types of medical problems in adults and children.

A 30 minute appointment is generally enough time to deal with a single medical issue. If you would like to discuss multiple problems then it is important that you book the correct length of appointment.

Procedures that I routinely carry out include:

Annual health screening with appropriate examination and investigations and health promotion advice.

Weight management assessment advice and proactive management

Cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen for warts

Skin surgery for benign moles and skin tags

Intense pulsed light therapy to reduce the appearance of blood vessels and brown spots, for increased collagen production, for acne management and for hair removal

After an appointment I may recommend a follow up appointment with me to ensure that symptoms have settled and to review and discuss with you the results of any investigations. I may also advise further treatment or followup from another specialist.

If I assess your medical condition to be an emergency, I may need to advise you to attend your local accident and emergency department.

In some circumstances I will need to gather more information after the appointment and contact you at a later time to give you advice or information.

I will not routinely write to your NHS GP about the consultation unless you ask me to do so.

Please note that I do not perform routine gynaecological examinations and do not offer routine immunisations

This is a consulting GP service. Please note that we do not provide emergency and out of hours care.

  • The two most common ways that patients book in are either by booking online or by contacting my medical secretary by telephone email or text.

I am usually available for urgent same day appointments and can also do telephone consultations. Please contact my secretary.

  • Following your consultation you may need certain tests (such as blood tests or imaging, for example an X-ray, MRI or CT scan) to help me diagnose your condition. If the test is undertaken by the clinic or hospital the fees for those tests will be determined by the clinic or hospital and charged to you, or your private medical insurer, separately. Please check the fee with reception staff before the investigation or blood test to ensure that you would like to have the test carried out.

If there are any fees which I will charge in relation to any of the tests I advise that you have, I will let you know what those will be prior to the test.

If X-ray and blood tests are not available at the time of your visit you may have to return at another time to carry out these tests. If it is important to you to have tests on the same visit, you should contact HCA directly in advance to see if tests are available on the day and time that you plan to attend.

  • It is important that you provide me with your correct contact details as I may need to contact you at a later date regarding your care. I may contact you by email, text, phone call or letter. Please let me know if you would prefer not to be contacted by any of these methods.

  • Please note that even if someone else is paying your bill or you have private medical insurance, you are responsible for paying any charges which they do not pay.

Should you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee of 100% of the appointment charge will be charged.

If you have private medical insurance, please contact your insurer before your consultation, to check if they can cover your appointment based on the terms of your policy, particularly the level and type of outpatient/appointment cover you have, including any reimbursement limits on individual consultation fees and suggested investigations.

Please note you are responsible for any fees not covered by your insurer.

I work in partnership with the Chiswick Outpatients and Diagnostics Centre.
